This last Saturday, October 23 was the 1st Noche de Los Cortos. An event created by www.LosCortos.com to showcase the short films created by the Latin Community.
The 1st Noche de Los Cortos was a great success. It was a night of great Cortos with a great crowd of people who enjoyed them. The 1st Noche de Los Cortos had the support of Venezolanos en Hollywood, a non profit organization that is determined to support the Venezuelan talent with activities of education, networks and nights like this one.
Paco y Manolo (also knows as Steve Wilcox and Alejandro Furth) did an amazing job as hosts of the evening. They kept the audience laughing with their act and translation. The night started with some tequeños, cachapas and mini reinas pepeadas, followed by Paco and Manolo presenting LosCortos.com and introducing the first group of short films. A short intermission with more food and drinks before the second group of short films. Once all the short films where screened, the audience voted for the BEST COMEDY CORTO and the BEST DRAMA CORTO.
Here is the list of the Cortos that were showcase during the night.
